Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) established at University Road will start operating from Friday.

According to a statement issued by the CM House, Shah visited the hospital which also has six ICU beds and a high dependency unit.

“This hospital will be a great help in treating Covid-19 patients, even if they only need oxygen support or ventilators,” he said, adding that the x-ray unit/radiology department would also help to save the lives by diagnosing chest complications in critical patients.
