THE World Health Organization has advised people to repeatedly wash their hands with soap as one of the safety measures to against the coronavirus pandemic.

Unfortunately, this is an impossible task for the people of Rohri who have been facing an acute water shortage for the past many months. The residents are living in miserable conditions as the heat is unbearable and there is little water available.

The Rohri town authorities recently confirmed 21 active Covid-19 cases, and consequently, the authorities have sealed some localities.

The non-availability of water in the sealed areas is adding to their woes. The municipality officials are requested to address this shortage problem and provide water.
