Drap has expedited registration process: Asad Umar

Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar said that the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (Drap) has expedited its registration process in order to keep up to date with new drugs being introduced as potential treatments for Covid-19.

"What used to be finalised in months is now being completed within two weeks."

He added that the NCOC had also decided that these drugs should be purchased in bulk and supplied to public hospitals so that those individuals who are unable to afford them can have access to them.
