Pakistan's death toll from Covid-19 has risen to 2,002 after Punjab and Islamabad collectively reported 28 more fatalities from the virus.

The countrywide breakdown of deaths is as follows:

  • Punjab: 683
  • Sindh: 634
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 561
  • Balochistan: 54
  • Islamabad: 49
  • Gilgit Baltistan: 13
  • Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 8
