Plans for education

ON a global and national scale, the rapid growth of the deadly coronavirus has not been slowed or stopped. I believe we must not let it further affect our education systems the way it has affected all other aspects of our nation so drastically (economy, health etc.)

It is crucial that we gear towards an online continuation to academic schooling so as not to jeopardise our coming generation’s future. School administrations should begin improving upon their (already established) online tests and classes.

Not only this, but admissions should not be postponed further. The whole of these processes can be shifted online with a few adjustments: interviews taken via scheduled video calls, forms filled using Google forms and the tests taken online as well. In a modern world, lockdowns and social distancing should not stop academic processes to continue.

On a separate note, it is far better to open schools if the government has decided to open markets, exposing thousands to the dangers of the deadly virus.
