The Sindh govt has issued a notification for opening the offices for the secretaries of 12 administrative departments "with minimum essential staff" with effect from May 19. These include the following departments;

• College Education Department
• Cooperative Department
• Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Archives Department
• Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities
• Forest and Wildlife Department
• Human Settlement and Spatial Development and Social Housing Department
• Inter Provincial Coordination Department
• Livestock and Fisheries Department
• Mines and Mineral Development Department
• Population Welfare Department
• School Education and Literacy Department
• Sport and Youth Affairs Department
