Using a methodology based on the collation of authentic and credible data sources, Dawn Relief has identified the neediest one percent of Karachi’s population.

Families who mirror Pakistan’s diversity, and are among its poorest, have acquiesced to the temporary sacrifice of their livelihoods to attain the self-isolation the pandemic demands.

Dawn Relief has already begun to provide support to a significant number of these families by delivering food ration boxes to their doorsteps.

Our eventual target is to mobilise support for 28,500+ families (an estimated 200,000 women, men and children) throughout Ramazan, and if possible, until the lockdown is over.
