KOHAT: The Hangu district administration sealed a fake beverages factory and arrested its two owners.

Additional assistant commissioner Nauman Wazir along with SHO Shah Doran raided the factory which was making fake beverages of a multinational company. Thousands of bottles, drums full of chemicals and other items were taken into custody.

The police registered cases against the owners, Mohammad Saleem and Silahuddin.

TESTING LABORATORY: Chief minister’s adviser Ziaullah Bangash has said that work on establishment of a testing laboratory for Covid-19 at the Kohat University of Science and Technology is under process.

Talking to reporters on Sunday, he admitted that virus test reports of different laboratories varied, casting doubts on their efficacy. He said like the rich countries the government could not go for a complete lockdown and the prime minister had taken right decision in that regard by ordering ‘smart’ lockdown.
