Opposition criticises Balochistan govt
QUETTA: Balochistan’s opposition parties have claimed the Jam Kamal-led provincial coalition has lost confidence of MPAs of the ruling party and called upon the chief minister seek a fresh vote of confidence.
These remarks were made by Leader of the Opposition in the Balochistan Assembly Malik Sikandar Khan at a press conference on Wednesday along with former chief minister Nawab Aslam Raisani, Sana Baloch of the Balochistan National Party-Mengal, Syed Fazal Agha and other MPAs of opposition parties.
Mr Khan said that some MPAs of the ruling party had expressed their differences with the leadership, which reflected a rift within the party and their lack of confidence in the leadership of Chief Minister Jam Kamal Alyani.
He said that the present government had no ability and capacity to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
He said that the flawed policies of the federal and provincial governments had brought misery for the people during the outbreak of Covid-19.
