Rangers distribute rations

KARACHI: The Pakistan Rangers, Sindh on Saturday distributed ration bags and other essential items among the daily wagers and needy residents of Azam Basti area of Mehmoodabad facing difficulties due to the lockdown imposed to contain the spread of coronavirus, said a statement.

“During the same campaign, the officials of paramilitary force also created awareness among the residents about adoption of precautionary measures to prevent spread of Covid-19,” said the paramilitary force’s statement.

“On this occasion, pastor of Pakistan New Hope Church in-charge Fredrick Paul and other members of Christian community prayed for elimination of the pandemic. They also appreciated efforts of Pakistan Rangers for helping out needy people in these challenging hours.”
