Health professionals laud policemen’s services

ISLAMABAD: The medical and paramedical staff of Federal Government Services Hospital (Polyclinic) and a private hospital on Sunday visited personnel of Islamabad police, performing duties at pickets in Industrial Area and appreciated their services for people in this critical time.

They also presented flowers to on-duty policemen and said police did not leave citizens alone in this challenging time. Various responsibilities, including maintaining law and order and creating awareness among citizens, are being performed by Islamabad police personnel in an effective manner, they said.

Doctors, came in large numbers to pay tribute to the policemen deployed at the picket in Faizabad and presented them flowers.

Meanwhile, DIG (Operations) Waqaruddin Syed said ration was being distributed in various areas among deserving people while efforts were underway to create awareness of Covid-19 and ensure strict implementation on law. Following directions of IGP Islamabad Mohammad Aamir Zulfiqar, he said policemen were educating citizens to adopt precautionary measures and providing assistance to them including provision of ration, masks and hand sanitisers.
