PRIME Minister Imran Khan addressed the nation and told them that a volunteer force had been created to help deal with the situation created by the coronavirus pandemic.

I propose that this force be named Corona National Force. One hopes the volunteers who make up this force will rise to the occasion and play a positive role in meeting this challenge. Teachers should also be invited to be a part of this organistaion. Besides them, the local representatives of all political parties, respectable members of the concerned communities, and social organisations should be asked to play a constructive role at a time when the country needs all hands on deck to fight the pandemic.

To deliver quick response to deserving families it is paramount that every one work together with unity of purpose. May the country emerge victorious in the challenge that it faces.
