Lockdown in public interest, says Alyani

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani has said the government is utilising all its resources to contain coronavirus and save people.

Talking to journalists after visiting an isolation ward established in Sibi on Wednesday, the CM said that he was visiting various districts of Balochistan to review the measures taken by the government to fight against the deadly virus.

He said that provincial government was preparing a strategy with the help of social welfare and other organisations for helping the daily wage earners during lockdown. “We will not let them alone and would provide maximum financial assistance and ration,” he assured and added that the complete lockdown had been imposed in the larger interest of the people to protect them from deadly virus, which affected entire world.

CM Khan visited the isolation wards and quarantine centres established in divisional headquarters hospital, public health school.
