KARACHI: Pakistan Oilfields Ltd (POL), operator of Pindori D&P lease, has tested hydrocarbons from its development well Pindori-10 located in Rawalpindi.

The company stated in a filing with the exchange that the drilling of Pindori-10 had started on Jan 28, 2019 and achieved target depth at 13,701 feet. Initial flows were of about 832 barrels per day of oil (maximum flow of 1,103bpd) and 2.76mmcfd of gas (max 2.96mmcfd).

POL has 35pc working interest in Pindori D&P Lease while Oil and Gas Development Company and Attock Oil hold 50pc and 15pc shares, respectively.
