Two arrests were made from the venue of the meeting when a section of audience tried to create disturbances in the meeting during the speech of Mr Nurul Amin. Fifteen more arrests were made when the Hotel Mishka, where the PDP leaders are staying, was attacked later.

Our correspondent reports: The miscreants surrounded the hotel. ... The demonstrators were chanting slogans against Nurul Amin and the PDP. They also shouted pro-Awami League slogans.
