LAHORE: A new art gallery with the slogan of ‘healing through art’ launched in Johar Town on Sunday along with a paintings exhibition.

The exhibition organised at the newly launched Cancer Art Gallery by Hubullah Welfare Society was titled ‘Paint and Donate’. It was jointly inaugurated by National College of Arts Principal Murtaza Jaffri, Lahore Arts Council Executive Director Athar Ali Khan, Hubullah Welfare Society patron-in-chief Dr Ahsan Waris and Mina Haroon of Lahore Arts Council.

Fifty paintings were on display at the exhibition, most of which depicted the sufferings and different stages a cancer patient goes through.
