Minister vows to help Nasirabad residents get ownership rights

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Balochistan Revenue Minister Mir Saleem Khosa said on Saturday that allotment and ownership rights were long-standing demands of the people of Nasirabad district and the sole purpose of his visit to the district was to resolve this issue.

He said the issue of allotment and ownership rights in Dera Murad Jamali city of Nasirabad district was very old. He regretted that no one made efforts to resolve this issue in the past.

He said the current government wanted to resolve this long-standing issue because it was committed to solve problems of people. “We have come here to resolve this issue and help the people of Nasirabad district get allotment and ownership rights of their houses,” he added.

Mr Khosa said the demand of the people of Nasirabad district was legitimate as they had worked hard to earn livelihoods for their children. A policy would be made which would help the people of the district to become owner of their houses.

He said that after hearing the stance of local people his team would submit a report to the provincial cabinet in this regard.
