Dry weather to persist till 20th

RAWALPINDI: Due to less rains in February, temperature is rising in the Potohar region and will further increase next week.

The Met Office predicted a dry weather in coming days.

“The twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad will face dry weather till February 20 after which light rain is expected,” it said.

On Sunday, the minimum temperature recorded in Islamabad was six degrees Celsius and nine degrees in Rawalpindi.

The temperature is likely to increase to seven in the capital and 10 degrees in Rawalpindi on Monday.

A Met Office official said spring season had started in Sindh but in Potohar region it would start in March.

He said last year temperature had decreased in mid-February due to rains.
