Balochistan panel reviews reforms in govt departments

QUETTA: Provincial Reforms Committee in its meeting on Tuesday reviewed proposed reforms for change in different departments, especially in health and education.

The meeting discussed reforms achieved in education, health, Public Primary Health care Initiative (PPHI) Programme, infant and mother health care, vaccinations and nutrition sectors etc.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani appreciated efforts of the provincial reforms committee and said that with joint efforts of the political leadership and bureaucracy development agenda of the province would achieve its desired targets and goals.

He said that social media was the most powerful tool and medium of information in the present day scenario and because of this people of the province were now well aware and they knew well how to get their issues and grievances resolved. He said now the people could not be befooled through slogans.

Chief Secretary retired Capt Fazeel Asghar, Senior Provincial Secretary Ghulam Ali Baloch, Abdul Saboor Khan Kakar, Shaharyar Taj, Noorul Haq Baloch and Aziz Jamali attended the meeting.
