Ticket prices for Pakistan-BD matches reduced

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has cut down the prices of the tickets for all matches of the upcoming home series against Bangladesh, which is being held in three phases starting from Jan 24 to April 9.

For the first phase, comprising three T20 matches being staged at the Gaddafi Stadium on Jan 24, 25 and 27, Abdul Hafeez Kardar, Rajas, Javed Miandad and Saeed Anwar enclosures have been reduced from Rs1,500 to Rs1,000.

Tickets of Imran Khan and Fazal Mahmood enclosures will be available for Rs2,000 instead of Rs3,000. Similarly, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis enclosure ticket price is set at Rs4,000 instead of Rs5,000.

Moreover, the cheapest ticket a priced at Rs500 is set for Inzamam-ul-Haq, Nazar, Quaid, Imtiaz Ahmed, Zaheer Abbas, Hanif Mohammad, Majid Khan, Abdul Qadir, Saeed Ahmed and Sarfraz Nawaz enclosures.

The T20 Internationals will start at 2:30pm Pakistan time.

For the first Test being held in Rawalpindi from Feb 7 to 11, tickets for Azhar Mahmood, Imran Khan, Javed Akhtar and Javed Miandad enclosures have been fixed at Rs100 while ticket price for Meeran Buksh, Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanvir and Yasir Arafat is Rs50.

The prices for the one-off One-day International (April 3) and second Test (April 5-9), both to be played in Karachi, will be announced later.

The tickets will be available online through www.yayvo.com from Jan 18 at 10:00am while tickets can also be directly purchased from TCS centres from Jan 21.
