FPSC’s recruitment

WHILE the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) offers employment opportunities to unemployed youth, its lengthy process is a frustrating factor for candidates.

The commission takes at least two to three years for selecting the right candidate for a post. When a general recruitment test is conducted candidates are not provided copy of OMR sheet or answer key. The FPSC does not upload marksheets of failed and passed candidates and one does not have any idea when the result will be announced.

As a consequence, most candidates either lose hope for getting employment or find another source of living such as joining private companies, starting their own business or going abroad.

FPSC authorities should make recruitment process fast and efficient like other testing bodies so that unemployed and skillful youth are not frustrated.
