KARACHI: Mr. G.M. Syed, President of the Sind Provincial Muslim League, in a statement on the ministerial situation in the province, reveals that after the dismissal of the late Mr. Allah Bux, Mr. M.A. Jinnah, President of the All-India Muslim League had strongly advised the Muslim League Party in the Sind Assembly not to have any truck with Sir Ghulam Hidayatullah and that, had the party followed the advice of the “Qaid-e-Azam”, things would not have reached the present stage.

Mr. Syed further states “Sir Ghulam Hussain on the one hand called on Mr. Gazdar to resign and on the other, he opened negotiations with me through the Home Minster Khan Bahadur Ghulam Ali, for a settlement. I indicated that I only wanted Sir Ghulam to be sincerely loyal to the Muslim League and take in the Cabinet those whom the Assembly nominates. Concluding, Mr Syed refers to the League’s policy as enunciated by Mr. Jinnah that Muslims should not only be fair but generous to the minorities, and says that the Premier should allow the Hindu Party to exercise the right to send its own representatives to the Cabinet in place of the present Hindu Ministers.
