KARACHI: An open kachehry will be held for the general public today (Saturday) at Community Hall in Gulshan-i-Maymar.

The Deputy Commi­ssioner West Fayyaz Alam Solangi is organising the kachehry on the directives of Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. It will be chaired by Mohammad Ismail Rahu, minister for agricultural, supplies and prices.

During the meeting, a report will be sent to the higher authorities, including chairman DMC West, chairman District Council West, director general KDA, director general Excise and Taxation, managing director Karachi Water and Sewerage Board, director general NADRA Karachi, director general Sindh Building Control Authority Karachi, director general Sui Southern Gas Company and representatives of other departments, for resolving public issues on a priority basis.
