Power suspension

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced up to six hours power suspension in various localities on Thursday (today) because of maintenance work on transmission lines.

According to a statement issued here on Wednesday, power supply will remain suspended from 132KV Timergara grid station from 8am to 2pm, affecting consumers of 11KV Timergara, Samar Bagh Express, Maidan, Odigram, Blambad, Lal Qilla, Toormang-2, Akhankhel, Khal, Mayar, Dushkhel, Qazafi, Ghar Shmozai and Ghazi Baba feeders.

It was stated that power supply would also remain suspended from 66KV Timergara grid station from 8am to 2pm and resultantly the consumers of 11KV Warsak, Toormang-1 feeders and feeders connected to 33KV Samar Bagh grid will face inconvenience.

In Kohat, the power supply will remain suspended from 132KV KDA grid station from 9am to 2pm, which will affect the consumers of 11KV MES, Hangu Road, Ghamkol Sharif and Alizai-2 feeders.

Meanwhile, a team of Pesco removed 40 illegal connections and registered FIRs against 13 people for their involvement in power theft in different localities of Bannu circle. It was stated that illegal connections were cut off in the Mandara, Ghoriwala and Dera Ismail Khan circles.
