NEW DELHI: Mr. G.M. Sayed, President of the Sind Provincial Muslim League arrived here today [Dec 20] from Karachi. He went to Qaid-e-Azam Jinnah’s residence, 10, Aurangzeb Road, New Delhi at 2-30 p.m. and was seen coming out at 6-30 p.m. When questioned by Pressmen, Mr. Sayed declined to say anything just then.

[This correspondent] understand[s] that during his four-hour talk Mr. Sayed apprised Mr. Jinnah of the political reactions to the appointment of Mr. Roger Thomas in the Muslim League circles of Sind. Most of the time during the interview, it is believed, Qaid-e-Azam heard the Sindh Muslim League leader and then followed the preliminary and general discussions between the two leaders.

Mr. Sayed is again meeting Qaid-e-Azam tomorrow at 11 a.m. when the Sind Premier, Sir Ghulam Hussain Hidayatullah will also be present. Nawabzada Liaquat Ali Khan, Secretary of the All-India Muslim League, is also likely to take part in the discussions. The party will lunch with the Qaid-e-Azam.

[Meanwhile, as reported from Bombay,] Nearly 5,000 workers belonging to certain sections of B.B. and C.I. Railways have struck work from yesterday [Dec 1] evening. Local surburban traffic has been disorganised.
