From The Past Pages Of Dawn: 1944: Seventy-five years ago: Hitler curses Jews

LONDON: The German News Agency today [Nov 12] published this proclamation from Adolf Hitler: “The Fuehrer holds it as essential to bear in mind for the fight which was imposed on Germany, firstly, our own aim, namely the preservation of our own people, to secure its future by all means, secondly the aim of our enemies, namely, the annihilation of our people... Today Sovietism supported by the democracies, is endeavouring to destroy the Reich and eradicate our people. The democracies of today would be as good as buried if Bolshevism won, but this does not alter the fact that they are behaving as they do. The incomprehensible paradox of such behaving becomes plain when it is realised that behind all this lack of character and these shortcomings there is always the Jew, the Jew, who at one and the same time pulls the strings of democracy and goads on the raging beast of Bolshevism.

“Today many statesmen, economists and party politicians abroad realise the necessity of saving Europe from Bolshevism. This recognition however can only produce concrete results, if a strong European power succeeds in organising and undertaking a common struggle for survival. Only National Socialist Germany can do this.”
