Fashion police

THE craze for fashion has gripped the youth for generations. Young students are crazy about the latest fashion and end up wasting a lot of their time and parent’s hard-earned money.

They want to look stylish in college, parties and weddings. These young people have turned the tailor into a holy entity. Youngsters who pay more attention to fashion are less attentive in class. I feel this ends up having a negative impact on people my age. Instead of focusing on studies or internships that could make or break our career, they are more interested in cigarette pants or short shirts.

The need to share their wardrobe with strangers on social media is also disturbing. I feel it makes people materialistic and narcissistic.
