Diplomat calls for strengthening Saarc

ISLAMABAD, Aug 8: Bangladeshi High Commissioner to Pakistan Shamim Ahmed has called for fortifying the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) for alleviating poverty, unemployment and other problems in the region.

Speaking at a training programme held by Saarc Human Resource Development (HRD), he said the member states should move forward towards globalization and take steps to develop their backward areas and provided security to masses. — Online
