KHUZDAR: Four people died and another was injured in a head-on collision between two pick-ups carrying smug­­gled petrol in the Bencha area of Kalat district on Thursday night.

According to Levies officials, the vehicles caught fire after the accident and bodies were charred beyond recognition. The injured was identified as Muhammad Alam Achakzai.

Some TV channels reported that the deceased included the Commissioner of Makran Division, retired Captain Tariq Zehri.
