KARACHI: Surjani Town police on Wednesday cla­imed to have arrested a woman who along with an accomplice had brutally murdered her husband recently.

The body of Mohammed Iqbal, 50, with torture marks was recovered in Surjani on Sept 15.

The police with the help of modern technology and witnesses arrested the suspect, identified as Shama, wife of the victim, said West SSP Investigation Abid Ali Baloch.

The officer claimed that the held woman with the help of another woman, Areeba, an absconder, brutally murdered her husband. The officer did not disclose the exact motive behind the murder.
