Four secretaries, two DCs transferred

LAHORE: The Punjab government on Friday transferred four secretaries and two deputy commissioners (DCs) and surrendered services of three senior officers to the Establishment Division.

The government transferred Industries, Commerce, Investment and Skills Development Department secretary Tahir Khurshid and posted him as the communication and works (C&W) secretary. Mr Khurshid has also been relieved of the additional charge of the post of managing director of the Punjab Small Industries Corporation.

The government transferred Punjab Privatisation Board chairman retired Capt Muhammad Zafar Iqbal and posted him as secretary Industries, Commerce, Investment and Skills Development Department.

C&W Secretary Muhammad Sheheryar Sultan, presently attending the NMC course, has been transferred and directed to report to the S&GAD after completion of the training course.

Punjab Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries Department Secretary retired Capt Muhammad Asif has been transferred. He too is attending the NMC course and has been directed to report to the S&GAD after completion of the course.

Punjab Schools Education Department secretary retired Capt Muhammad Mahmood has been entrusted the additional charge of the post of the secretary Forestry, Wildlife and Fisheries Department.

The government transferred Faisalabad Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sardar Saifullah Khan Dogar and posted him as DC Rawalpindi vice Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa. Additional DC (Revenue), Faisalabad, Muhammad Tariq Khan has been entrusted the additional charge of the post of the DC.

The government has placed the services of Dr Naveed Ahmad Chaudhry, member (Social Infrastructure) P&D Board, Punjab and OSDs Muhammad Jehanzeb and Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa at the disposal of Establishment Division, Government of Pakistan.
