KARACHI: The whole city had to go without water for many hours on Thursday when a power breakdown hit the Dhabeji pumping station of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB).

“There was a shortage of around 51MGD, which was restored after three hours when electricity was completely restored at the Dhabeji pumping station,” said a KWSB spokesperson.
