Clash between rival groups leaves three dead

CHARSADDA: Three persons were killed and two injured when rival groups exchanged fire here on Monday.

Police said that two brothers, including a policeman, were killed from one side, while one person was killed from the rival party. Two people were also injured in the incident. The injured were shifted to a major hospital in Peshawar in critical condition.

Meanwhile, police recovered body of a man from the bank of River Kabul. Unknown assailants had cut legs and head of the victim and hid the body in a box.

Also, a student of Bacha Khan University shot himself dead over unknown reasons. The police registered a report and started further investigations.
