Power shutdown

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced power suspension from five to 12 hours in different areas due to maintenance work on the transmission lines.

According to a statement issued here on Monday, consumers of 11KV Islamia College, Tehkal, Commercial 2, University Town and KTH feeders will face inconvenience from 8am to 1pm on Aug 20, 22, 24 and 28.

Similarly, the power supply will remain suspended from 132KV DI Khan transmission line on Aug 22, 23, 24 and 25 from 7am to 7pm, resultantly consumers of Tank, Kulachi, Draban, Jhandola, Wana, and 66KV Wana would suffer.

Meanwhile, a Pesco taskforce removed 13 meters over non-payment and recovered Rs3 million from defaulters and shifted the power meters from different buildings to electric poles in Mardan circle in order to monitor the power pilferage.
