Guru Nanak’s birthday celebrated in Kurram

PARACHINAR: Hundreds of Sikhs from across the country gathered at Gurdwara Tala Sahib here on Saturday to mark the 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism.

It merits a mention here that Parachinar is the only place in the tribal belt which Baba Guru Nanak visited. Three temples were made at the spots where Guru stayed during his visit to Parachinar.

Addressing the gathering, Baba Hari Singh and Baba Gopal Singh said they were enjoying complete religious freedom in Pakistan. The Sikh pilgrims also prayed for the integrity of Pakistan.
