FAISALABAD: Four children drowned in a pond near a brick kiln at Chak 100, Kurriwala, Ghulam Muhammad Abad on Friday.

Rescue officials said the children, aged five to 10 years, were bathing in rain when they fell into a pond near a brick kiln.

They were shifted to the General Hospital Ghulam Mohammad Abad and the Allied Hospital where they breathed their last.

The deceased included Ali Mirza, 8, and Hamza Ameer, 5.
