GUJRAT: The mother of Dawn’s Gujrat district correspondent Waseem Ashraf Butt died of a cardiac arrest here on Tuesday.

She was laid to rest in a local graveyard after Maghrib prayers.

Her qul will be held at Islamic Centre, GT Road, near the Science College between 10am and 11am on Wednesday (today).

She was also the mother of journalist Naeem Ashraf Butt, working with Samaa TV.
