TAXILA: A man shot and injured his wife and brother-in-law over domestic dispute in Taxila police station limits on Sunday.

Noreen Bibi reported to the police that she developed differences with her husband over some domestic issues and started living with her parents.

She said on Sunday, her husband Sajid Mehmood came to her parents’ house and asked her to return to his home. When she refused, he took out his pistol and shot her.

She said when her brother Zahid Mehmood came to her rescue he also shot him and fled.

The injured were taken to THQ hospital where their condition was stated to be out of danger.

Taxila police have registered an attempted murder case against the suspect and started investigation.
