Seven private clinics, one lab sealed

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Healthcare Commission on Wednesday sealed seven private clinics and a lab for violation of laws.

Commission’s chief executive officer Azhar Sardar said the action was taken in compliance of a complaint received from Pakistan Citizen Portal, according to a statement.

A team raided the medical facilities and found the operators of these clinics violating the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission Act, 2015. The team was led by chief inspector Assadullah Khan.

A homeopathic clinic was sealed because the doctor was found busy in allopathic inject-able practice.

A dental clinic was sealed as a non-qualified person was running it. Similarly, another clinic was sealed because a non-qualified person was found busy in allopathic inject-able practice.

Four other clinics were also sealed during the action in the city.
