Unfilled posts

IT was recently reported that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has taken the initiative of abolishing 86,000 unfilled government posts. These positions were vacant because of litigations or other reasons.

The KP government rightly thinks that since the organisations where these jobs are based are still operating without issues, it means that these jobs are not immediately needed by the organisation.

By ending these jobs, the government will also save the government’s time and cost besides reducing court cases. Now the organisations can advertise their current requirements as new jobs.

I think that this initiative should be a lesson for every government organisation
