Regular licence for LGH to function as standard medical centre

LAHORE: The Punjab Healthcare Commission has awarded regular licence to the Lahore General Hospital (LGH) to work as standard medical centre, and a certificate has been issued in this regard. This certificate will be valid till 2024.

Postgraduate Medical Institute and Lahore General Hospital Principal Prof Dr Mohammad Tayyab said the issuance of the regular certificate is proof that this institution is working as per standard operating procedures and the best medical facilities are also provided to the patients, says a press release.

He said other than this proper discipline, cleanliness and rules and regulations are also observed at the hospital. Proper monitoring is also ensured in all the departments so that every person could be treated equally, he added.

Dr Tayyab hoped MS Dr Mahmud Salahuddin, professors, administrative doctors and other employees would continue their efforts to maintain standards and this position.
