Court stays composite exams of grades 9, 10

ABBOTTABAD: The Peshawar High Court, Abbottabad bench on Wednesday issued a stay order against holding of composite examinations of grade 9 and 10 and board examinations of class 8 by the educational boards of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on a writ petition of the Private Education Network (PEN).

While accepting the plea of PEN, the bench cancelled both the notifications issued on Feb 18 and May 17, 2019, for holding composite examinations of 9th and 10th grades and board examination of grade 8. President PEN, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter Mohammad Saleem Khan told the PHC bench about the loss the students would suffer if composite examinations were held.

After the court verdict, Saleem Khan told mediapersons that it was a huge success of PEN because of the unity of schools.
