SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Saturday unearthed an illegal fiber internet cable network being run by some local ‘influential’ people allegedly in connivance with PTCL staffers in Daska and Sambrial.

According to senior FIA officials, the suspects were running an illegal internet cable network by getting linkages with PTCL’s underground fiber cable between Daska and Sambrial.

The FIA experts also seized equipment from there attached with the main fiber cable, causing financial loss of millions of rupees.

The FIA is conducting raids for arrest of the suspects.
