SAHIWAL: A group of men on Friday cut the ears of a villager over a decade-old dispute at 98/D village.

Muhammad Maqbool went to irrigate his land when three men tortured him at the behest of Mahboob. The assailants cut both ears of Maqbool and opened fire on his legs.

A team of the Rescue 1122 shifted him to the DHQ hospital from where he was referred to Sahiwal due to his critical condition.

Police registered a case against Mahboob and others.
