LAHORE: The driver of a container suffered multiple burns after his vehicle caught fire when it touched a high-voltage transmission line in Sundar area on Saturday.

A police official said driver Najeebullah ignored the precautions when he tried to cross the road where the high-voltage electricity wires were not too high. As the container touched the wires, it caught fire which engulfed the vehicle.

The driver suffered multiple burns and was shifted to hospital.
