Faisal mosque
I WAS shocked to see the condition of Faisal mosque where I and hundreds of thousands of other offered Eid prayer. It saddened me to see its dirty floors.
How come it didn’t occur to the mosque management to clean up and spruce up the mosque even on Eid day? How can they ignore this major issue on a day like Eid when hundreds and thousands of people come to the historic mosque for offering the post-Ramazan prayer?
I was very saddened to see those white marble floors full of dust. The water-less fountains inside the mosque were dirty.
If my childhood recollection is any indication, Faisal mosque was well attained in all respects. Are we falling behind even third world countries?
I request the government to take measures to keep the mosque in proper condition — at least on occasions like the two Eids.
Let the mosque management know that mosques reflect our culture.
