Players to watch

Jimmy Neesham
New Zealand

JIMMY Neesham has the potential to be a seriously good all-rounder. Besides being a punishing left-handed batsman, the 28-year-old from Auckland is a decent right-arm paceman who has already made his mark in this World Cup with a maiden five-for against Afghanistan. New Zealand has not yet needed him to contribute big with the bat but against India they would love to contribute in that department if the top order fails.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar
India

BHUVNESHWAR Kumar comes across as a paceman who can be unplayable if the conditions are in his favour. In the two India games, Kumar has played a major role with the new ball with crucial strikes. And although he is not that quick speed-wise, he is an awkward customer to handle. Further he is a handy lower-order batsman whenever the situation demands. The current damp English weather would definitely help him.
