IT IS a matter of utmost concern that the Pakistan Council for Scientific and Industrial Research has failed to release pensions on time. According to a source, there is a delay in paying out pensions as the head office has redirected the money to an individual.

In the PCSIR, retiring personnel are usually paid gratuity and provident funds after 12 to 24 months. But this has been ignored. I request the authorities to look into the matter and give us the pension for April and May immediately so that the pensioners may celebrate Eid with ease.
