QUETTA: Under the Balochistan Awami Endowment Fund, Rs130 million was given to 33 patients with chronic conditions at a ceremony held on Tuesday night.

The Awami Endowment Fund was approved in January this year under which poor sections of society are to be supported through transfers of money.

Speaking at the cheque-distributing ceremony, Mir Asadullah Baloch, the social welfare minister, said Rs77 million would be given to 13 other patients with chronic conditions.
