HYDERABAD: A model criminal trial court here on Wednesday sentenced a man, Zubair, to death after he was found guilty of kidnapping and killing a citizen, Hassam Kaimkhani, in the Chhotki Ghitti area of Hyderabad in December 2010.

The court also sentenced him to 10-year imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs50,000 on him.

The case was registered against Zubair and his two brothers, Sharif alias Kalia and Mohammad Ali, at the City police station.
